Youth Fellowship
Those involved in this ministry help teenagers become involved in parish activities, social events, service projects, and to show them that God is relevant to their lives.
The blessing gained from this ministry is that by sharing out teen’s enthusiasm and love of life, you can help them feel a part of our Church. For more information about this ministry and how you can become involved contact Deacon Kevin Williams.
Over the Thanksgiving weekend about a dozen recently confirmed youth spent time at church creating a display about Our Lady of Gaudalupe. Here are some pictures of their activities and the end project as well as an explanation of the symbolism. In addition to creating the OLG display the youth also created Christmas cards for shut-ins.
Parishioners involved in these ministries also help establish and recommend goals and objective annually to the parish pastoral council that flow from the pastoral plan of the parish.
Spiritual Growth
"The Church needs men and women who are intent on teaching by word and example – intent on helping to permeate the whole educational milieu with the spirit of Christ. This is a great vocation, and the Lord himself will reward all who serve in it as educators in the cause of the word of God.” Message of John Paul II to the National Catholic Educational Association of the United States, April 16, 1979
